Finding Physical and Mental Strength

I started my fitness journey as an athlete growing up. I was a soccer player, volleyball player, competitive cheerleader, and gymnast. I had experienced injuries throughout my athletic career and experienced burnout, physically and mentally. Once I quit sports, I lost my identity. 

After a long fought battle with abusing food and exercise to lose weight and compromise my health, I lost my inner and outer strength. Once I had recovered, I felt the drive to become strong again. I rediscovered myself in the weight room, and not in the cardio room. I taught myself how to lift weights with the minimal equipment that I had in my basement- a barbell with some plates, a bench, and a dumbbell set that went up to 50 lbs. 

I was a research fiend, studying every aspect of fitness on my own time outside of school. From weight lifting techniques and optimal training splits to nutrition and metabolism, I wrote my programming and began to change my body. Since then, I am proud to say that I have built the body that I have today and have healed my relationship with food. I studied and became certified by the ISSA as a Personal Trainer so that I can help other achieve their goals as well. I will continue to progress in my development as both an athlete and a coach and aspire to compete in a bikini competition next year.

My passion is to impact as many lives as I can to change their lives for the better. My mission is to help individuals create healthy and sustainable lifestyles and heal their relationships with food and fitness. I believe that fitness is not a one size fits all approach, and I believe that everybody deserves their best chance at achieving their personal goals. I'm here to help you get there.
